Chili pepper, a specialty of Lang County, Nyingchi of China's Xizang, has been recognized as a national geographical indication of agricultural product. In recent years, Lang County has focused on improving the quality and upgrading the brand of chili pepper, so as to promote the scale and industrialization of chili pepper industry. In 2024, the production of chili pepper in Lang County reached 3,900 tons, with an output value of 23.4 million yuan.
